Acne Skin Care and Acne Treatments for Clearing Acne

If acne seems like a never ending battle, if you frequently wake up to find that over night you’ve had yet another breakout then maybe it’s time to change the way you are treating your acne.

No product can guarantee you’ll be 100% acne free following their acne free system.  You don’t have to spend tons of money becoming acne free either.  There are simple things you can do at home to help clear acne fast.  Consistency is key.  If you truly want to reduce your acne breakouts then you need to follow all the steps below and follow them every day, no exceptions, if you miss a day, then changes are acne will return.

Wash Your Face Twice a Day

Get a good quality face wash made specifically to control acne.  Wash your face twice a day with the acne wash.  Be gentle with your face, don’t scrub it as this could irritate the skin and cause an acne flareup.  If you have dry skin be sure to get an acne face wash made for dry skin.  If you have oily skin then get an acne facial wash to control oily skin.

Go Easy on the Makeup

If you have oily skin then avoid oil based cosmetics all together as they will only make your skin worse.  Skin needs to breath so its best to use very little makeup.  You can still wear all the eye make you want but try to let the rest of your skin breathe.

Drink Water Like its Going Out of Style

Countless super models swear the secret to great skin is drinking a ton of water.  Drink up, it’s good for you, will help make your skin look fabulous, and clear up acne fast.  Drinking water also helps to control hunger, another plus!

The Food Connection

Avoid all fried foods and sugary based foods, they can wreck havoc on your skin and on your waistline.  Stick with “whole foods”, fruits and vegetables are the perfect snacks.

The Vitamin and Mineral Acne Connection

A lack of vitamins in your body can contribute to acne breakouts and can cause healing time to take longer than necessary.  Start a vitamin regimen and stick to it.  Take a good quality multivitamin and most importantly start taking “Chelated Zinc”.  Zinc has to be “Chelated” in order to work.  Chelated Zinc does wonders for skin.  Take 50 – 90 mg daily and you should see a HUGE improvement in skin and if taken daily with all the other steps listed here will help clear acne fast, within a week or two.  Keep taking it if you want to keep your skin looking great, if you decided to stop taking the Chelated Zinc acne will return and you don’t want that. A month’s worth of Chelated Zinc costs approximately $5. It’s a cheap easy way to treat acne and definitely worth a try.

Zap those Zits

If you follow all the above tips our skin will be looking great but you may still get the occasional acne blemish.  One of the best products on the market right now for zapping acne over night is ZENO Acne Clearing Devise.  In clinical trials ZENO was shown to clear acne fast, withing 48 hours.  Think about those nasty zits that can linger around for a week or more and all the embarrassment acne can cause.  If you had a ZENO you could have the zit cleared within 48 hours.  You really can’t put a price on that.  Luckily ZENO’s are affordable!  ZENO’s retail for $100+.  You can find some great deals on ZENO Acne Clearing Devise below.

What if your skin is really oily sometimes and really dry other times? I can’t seem to find a “happy-medium” for my skin! When I wash my face, it gets really really dry unless I put some kind of moisturizer on, then it just feels oily for the rest of the day. What’s going on?

Thank you

If you need something more mild to cure your acne breakouts, you can also try using a medicated face wash. These products contain lower concentrations of benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid, and are not as harsh on your skin, as they are meant to be washed away after thirty seconds to a minute of use. As such, they are not necessarily as effective as creams and ointments, but because many blemishes and breakouts can be attributed to oily skin, using a medicated face wash is an excellent way to introduce your skin to acne treatment ingredients. The cleaner your face is, the more regulated the oil production will be – and for many people, cleaner skin can lead to clearer skin in the long run.
