Butt acne is embarrassing! Acne on the butt is humiliating and the last thing you want is for anyone to know about your butt acne, let alone see your butt acne. When you have a flare up of butt acne your self-esteem drops to an all time low, leaving you feeling unattractive and self conscious. Wearing swimsuits is not even an option unless you want to let your butt acne secret out and risk completely grossing other your friends or complete strangers.
What can you do to treat butt acne?
Sun your buns. What’s this mean? If its possible and privacy allows, get outside on a nice sunny day and sun your buns. The sun will help to dry up the acne on your butt.
Treat your butt like you would your face. Wash your butt twice a day with a good quality acne wash and don’t forget to moisturize with a non-oily moisturizer. Benzyl peroxide and salicylic acid are your butts best friends in treating acne. Benzyl peroxide and salicylic acid will both dry up butt acne. Only use one of the other don’t use both products at once..
Let your butt breathe. Avoid nylon and polyester underwear, let your butt checks breathe with cotton panties or underwear. This will reduce sweating on your butt area. If you think your butt acne is caused by excessive sweating on your butt then start powdering your putt with baby powder you dry off from taking a shower. The baby powder will help to absorb excessive sweating.
Take vitamins. Most acne is caused by lack of necessary vitamins. If you can’t stand taking a bunch of vitamins then at least take a multivitamin and some Chelated Zinc.
Drink up, your butt will thank you for it. Water is wonderful for your skin and is fabulous for fighting acne.
