How to Get Rid of Acne Naturally

Sometimes the urge to pop acne blemishes is just too hard to resist.  Who wants to go around with a big fat whitehead on their face for everyone to see.  Sometimes acne blemishes pop up so fast it’s hard to keep up. Keep reading to find out how to cure acne naturally.

As hard as it is to resist the urge to pop pimples, you need to resist as much as possible.  Popping acne will only make the problem worse.  You could end up infecting the blemish.  Frequent popping and squeezing of acne also causes the bacteria to be pushed further into the blemish.

There are many natural ways to get rid of acne.  These methods do not have to be expensive either.

Here are some basic ways to get rid of acne:

  • Keep your face clean.  Over the counter face washes are perfect.  Some people may have to try a few different washes before finding the one that works for their skin type.
  • Keep skin moisturized, don’t overly dry out.  Dry skin will also be prone to acne.
  • Avoid touching your face, this will introduce bacteria to your face.
  • Drink lots of water – at least 8 full glasses of water every day.  This can be iced water or water with a lemon slice but make sure you are drinking pure water, sodas don’t count.
  • Cut out junk foods.  Eating fatty fried foods isn’t good for your body and it’s not good for your complexion either.
  • Eat whole foods.  What are whole foods?  Foods that ARE NOT processed.  Fruits and vegetables like apples, bananas, salads, carrots, peaches, etc.
  • Take 50-90 mgs of “Chelated Zinc” every day.  This is probably the single most effective method of treating acne naturally.  You can find “Chelated Zinc” at your local drug store.  Make sure the zinc is “chelated”.
